We are seeking a highly skilled Python-Senior Data Scientist with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Python and Generative AI Django GPT-4 Data Science NLP Machine Learning LLMs.Responsibilities
Use generative AI models and algorithms to tackle sophisticated business problemsTeach LLM model through timely engineering to achieve improved accuracyTake complete ownership of a use case and collaborate with cross-functional team consist of Front-end developers, Backend Developers, QAs and DevOpsDesign Implement and optimize complete backend pipeline using pythonDevelop and maintain APIs for data access and integration with other systems.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in generative AI and application development.Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Data Science or a related field.5+ years of experience in machine learning NLP Data Science3-4 years ML or LLM based application development and deployment.Strong proficiency in Large Language Models (e.g. GPT-3 GPT-4 Claude Gemini etc. ) and their applications. Prior experience in building LLM application is must.Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy TensorFlow PyTorch). Ability to write scalable pipeline using python is must.Experience with web development frameworks (e.g. Django Flask Fastapi)Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 12/15/2024.The annual salary for this position is between $120,000-$130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
