We assist people with various disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and autism to learn essential skills for self-care, independence, employment, and community integration.
The
Assistant Residential Services Manager
is responsible for supporting the Group Home in Sullivan, MO, and its residents with developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities. They will assist in training, managing, and scheduling direct support staff while also ensuring 24-hour care of the residents is maintained. They will work directly with clients as needed, which may include; providing transportation, scheduling and attending physician appointments, providing direct care, and providing assistance with activities of daily living. They will share On-Call rotations with the team to provide after-hours support.
The Residential Services Sullivan House Assistant Manager is responsible for the operation of the Sullivan House Group Home, which provides 24-hour supervision and care for residents.
Qualifications: Must be 25 years or older at the time of application. Must have a high school diploma/GED/equivalent or be enrolled in a general equivalency program at time of application Valid driver's license Valid and current state minimum auto insurance Reliable transportation Minimum of 1 year previous management experience Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a direct service support role Key duties include:
Assisting in the supervision and management of residents, including staffing, safety, and welfare Maintaining HIPAA and other confidentiality Coordinating with administrative staff on client day programs, transportation, etc. Participating as an effective team member Assisting with orientation of new clients and their families/guardians Accepting supervision and taking initiative to solve problems Required Skills:
Strong supervisory skills, with a high priority on client safety and welfare Ability to schedule, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff Capable of overseeing group home operations in the House Manager's absence Consistent attendance and participation in staff meetings/training Competency in direct support professional (DSP) skills Proficient in monitoring client safety, support needs, and medical/dietary requirements Excellent communication and organizational skills Availability:
Flexible schedule required due to 24/7/365 support needs. Work-from-home options available at the discretion of the Director of Residential Services. ABiLITY Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm 14 Paid Holidays (Administrative office closed). May be required to drive between multiple locations in Franklin County, MO at times (mileage reimbursed). Pay Breakdown:
