Job Description
Development of software tools for automated failure analysis of solid state drives.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Programming Languages: Python, C, C++Object Oriented ProgrammingGood communication skills, we'll be working very closely as a team.Previous experience with Git, exposure to Bitbucket and Jira is a plus!Embedded Systems.Comfortable with Linux.
As part of this internship, the candidate will help develop tools for automated failure analysis of SSDs. The candidate will learn the different failure modes of Solidigm products and will train our tool to recognize new failure symptoms. Our team is currently exploring AI applications for debug and the candidate may be assigned activities in support of this effort. They will also be expected to dive deep into the firmware source code to understand expected versus abnormal SSD behavior.
