Job Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This full-time position will be on-site at the Indianapolis Lab Facility.Supervisory Responsibilities:• None.Duties/Responsibilities:• Executes full-cycle recruiting/onboarding processes for requisitions throughout the country.• Builds and maintains internal partnerships with managers to understand hiring needs and meet staffing goals.• Consults with departmental managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).• Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, turnover rates and demand for candidates in particular fields.• Posts requisitions and conducts strategy meetings with internal managers to assure alignment in the recruiting plan.• Sources active and passive candidates from various sources, including direct sourcing, referrals, internet job boards, social media, etc.• Screens potential candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.• Coaches candidates on the interview and hiring process.• Follows up with managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.• Supports candidate onboarding activities.• Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.• Build relationships with external partners to include community contacts, college officials, and outside agency partners.• Participates in building and maintaining a strong employer brand internally and externally.• Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.• Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with particular aptitude for conducting interviews.• Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques.• Exceptional interpersonal and service excellence skills.• Ability to manage projects across multiple departments.• Self-motivated and results-driven.• Excellent organizational skills.• Aptitude at problem-solving.• Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.• The ability to work both collaboratively and independently.• The ability to coordinate and fill a high volume of requisitions within tight deadlines.• Effectively prioritize using strong process and time management skills.• Fluent in web-based recruiting tools, including social media, job boards and applicant tracking tools.• The ability to effectively speak to the company's value proposition, to engage qualified candidates.• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.• Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience:• 3-5 Years experience working in full life cycle recruiting and Applicant Tracking Systems, required.• Proven track record in working both niche and high-volume requisitions, required.• Experience recruiting in the healthcare space, preferred.• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Psychology, or related field, preferred.Physical Requirements:• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and standing.• Repetitive motions and/or prolonged computer use.• Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental stress.• Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 pounds.) Heavier weights with assistance.Classification:• Full-Time, Salary, Exempt PositionSalary Range:• $60,000 - $65,000 Per Year
