We are looking for a Planning Coordinator who can be an integral Team Member within our Planning Department who can work with our Production Planners to ensure that our valued customers receive their products in a timely manner.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Ensure tooling is ready for upcoming orders (die boards, print plates, etc.).BTB monitoring/answering.Maintain calendar on planning board and ensure asset availability.Ensure paper readiness for upcoming orders.Pre-trim paper orders.Send out and monitor press check invites.Perform moveouts as needed/update comments on planning board.Review production schedules for accuracy prior to distribution to machine centers.Review ship schedule, send related emails, and schedule meetings when necessary.Assist Production Planner with daily WIP priority list updates.Production Planning when Planner is out.Required Skills/Abilities:
Computer Skills - The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating in the entire Microsoft Suite (Office, Word, Teams, etc.) They should be familiar with calendar and scheduling programs, as well as database, spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail and desktop publishing applications. They also need to be adept at data entry.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.Bachelors degree in any field preferred but not required.Must have planning experience in a manufacturing organization or experience working in a manufacturing environment.Two years in a planning or scheduling role within a multi-tiered and concurrent environment preferred but not required.Experience working in an operations or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
