*** The job is on-site with a HYBRID work schedule. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH
IT Infrastructure Support Engineer :
- Support infrastructure solutions ( servers, OS ) for enterprise applications- Deploy and administer Windows and Linux server environments using VMWare virtualization solutions- Manage infrastructure compute capacity planning and resource allocation, evaluate and optimize server configurations for performance and efficiency- Develop automated infrastructure deployment scripts ( YAML and tools like Ansible / Terraform /CloudFormation / ARM (Azure Resource Manager) / Kubernetes / OpenShift )- Configure and maintain non-relational database platforms
Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering- Windows and Linux server administration- VMWare virtualization technologies, VMWare certification desired- Infrastructure tasks automation using YAML scripting- Any experience with non-SQL databases will be a plus : MongoDB / CouchDB / DynamoDB / Apache Cassandra / HBase / etc- Familiarity with enterprise tools preferred: Jira for project tracking, SharePoint for documentation, Confluence for collaboration, ServiceNow for service management
