In this position...

Candidate should demonstrate proficiency in Cloud Architecture and GCP Cloud Services, not limited to blend of technical skills with analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in managing large-scale data in GCP cloud services.

What you'll do...Product And Requirements Management: Participate in and/or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases. Participate in stand-up operations meetings.

Author: Process and Design Documents

Design/Develop/Test/Deploy: Work with the Business Customer, Product Owner, Architects, Product Designer, Software Engineers, and Security Controls Champion on solution design, development, and deployment.

Operations: Generate Metrics, Perform User Access Authorization, Perform Password Maintenance, and Build Deployment Pipelines. Incident, Problem, And Change/Service Requests:

Participate and/or lead incident, problem, change and service request-related activities. Includes root cause analysis (RCA). Includes proactive problem management/defect prevention activities.

Work on a small agile team to deliver curated data products. Work effectively with fellow software engineers, product owners, data champions and other technical experts

Demonstrate technical knowledge and communication skills with the ability to advocate for well-designed solutions

Develop exceptional analytical data products using both streaming and batch ingestion patterns on Google Cloud Platform with solid data reporting principles. Be the Subject Matter Expert in Data Engineering with a focus on GCP native services and other well integrated third-party technologies

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

You'll have...Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related scientific field4+ years of cloud experience (GCP preferred) with solutions designed and implemented at production scale5+ years of SQL development experience5+ years of analytics/data product development experience required

Even better, you may have...Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related scientific field6+ years of cloud experience (GCP preferred) with solutions designed and implemented at production scale7+ years of SQL development experience7+ years of analytics/data product development experience required Expertise in using Terraform code for managing the GCP cloud infrastructure, data components, access management, Job automation and scheduling with audit logging capabilities in GCP Cloud environment.Expertise in Data encryptions and Identity and Access Management and Cloud Security.Expertise in Data ingestion and storage, Data Transformation and processing, Data analysis and visualization, Performance optimization and cost management, and a deep understanding, designing, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing and managing large-scale data storage system with below services: Big Query, Cloud Run, Cloud Function, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage and Data Studio, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Build etc.,Experience or knowledge with using Teradata database from GCP cloud services.Expertise in Tekton pipeline.Expertise in Java or Python for developing, testing, and deploying data storage and processing solutions with Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run and Cloud FunctionExpertise in Networking and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity with performance issues resolutionExperience in working on an implementation team from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successful deployment. Implement methods for automation of all parts of the pipeline to minimize labor in development and productionExperience in analyzing complex data, organizing raw data, and integrating massive datasets from multiple data sources to build analytical domains and reusable data productsExperience in working with architects to evaluate data pipelines for data ingestion, curation, and consumptionExperience in working with stakeholders to formulate business problems as technical data requirements, identify and implement technical solutions while ensuring key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product management
