Position Summary
IT Enterprise Applications Administrator job is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational ownership of all Enterprise Applications to meet business needs.
•Corporate headquarters is based in Houston, TX •Most of the work will be performed in EST business hours.
Annualized pay rate for this position is $100,000. to 130,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Provide expertise in managing enterprise application.From installation, configuration, monitoring, and patching the application through its life cycle. •Utilize PowerShell and other IT tools to enhance system agility and reliability.Drive improvements by understanding and enhancing various application-tier and system functionality. •Define and implement authorization strategy for granting users, developers, and administrator's roles within the application. •Verifying data backup and disaster recovery design meet the business objective and requirement. •Support end-users and IT developers to optimize processes.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Minimum 2 years of experience with MS-SQL or RDBMS database technology. •Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows server platform and administration. •Minimum 2 years of experience with RedHat Linux server platform and administration. •Good communicator who can articular business asks and match IT services. •Familiar with ITAR restrictions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
•Prefer with prior experience on TIP-QA, CostPoint, or ProPricer applications. •Prefer scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Bash shell scripting. •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal). •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. •Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving. •Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Additional Information
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
