The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing projects, reviewing monthly journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, monitors SOX controls performance, assistance with SEC filings, technical accounting activities, research and technical memos.
This role will manage 2-3 direct reports.
Skills And Experience
Bachelor's / Master's degree in accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required
2+ years' experience in Public Accounting audit with public company
Researches GAAP treatment on complex transactions and financial SOX controls understanding
Background in preparing financial reporting, performing technical accounting research and documentation
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
A solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills are criticalStrong attention to detail and follow-up skills
A team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
Supervisory experience overseeing a team
Communicates with Stakeholders regarding financial information, conduct weekly meetings
Advanced Excel skills a plus, Word, Access, and Outlook
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 Per Year
