Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.

Responsibilities
Device Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure new Mac and Microsoft PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals; install software and deploy systems to staff locations, coordinating with network analysts as necessary. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with Mac and Microsoft PCs, peripherals, and software both in-person and using remote tools; resolve connectivity problems efficiently and effectively. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with staff to understand and meet their IT needs, prioritize and resolve tickets while providing clear communication throughout the process. Helpdesk and Security Support: Assist with general helpdesk tickets, contribute to security configuration and monitoring, provide remote support to multiple locations across various U.S. time zones. System Maintenance: Perform system maintenance and administration tasks with minimal supervision, and collaborate on infrastructure projects related to networking, security, and more. Consultation and Training: Offer consultation to staff on software development, deployment, and troubleshooting and provide end-user training and support when necessary. Inventory and Logistics: Maintain inventory control, organize equipment, and manage computer storage areas, assist with shipping computer-related devices between locations and to remote employees. After-Hours Support: Schedule and provide after-hours and weekend support as needed, especially in emergency situations. Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT support, with a strong background in both Mac and Windows environments. Bachelor’s OR associate degree in IT or related fieldn Microsoft certification preferred. Expert-level proficiency in configuring computing hardware in a mixed Mac/Microsoft environment. Strong experience with Windows OS client configuration and Active Directory administration. Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability. Ability to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
