Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced
Senior Data Scientist
within the technology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for developing hypotheses, designing, and executing experimental methods, and deriving actionable insights from experiment results. Your analytical skills will extend to analyzing data from pseudo-experiment settings, utilizing techniques like causal inference and look-alike modeling to estimate incrementality from changes.
As part of a team, you're deeply committed to the two-sided challenge of driving all aspects of the extraction of insights from the inconsistent and intangible world of data and delivering insight to the business leaders. Being aware of how frustratingly valuable web data can be, you're able to build the skills to collect and interpret that data.
Key Responsibilities :
You will provide recommendations utilizing multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn't exist. You will be critical to decision-making Identifying opportunities and influencing partners to act: You will partner with eCommerce and Digital Marketing leaders to provide key marketing insights and influence strategic decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of various leaders Using multitude of data source, you will connect the dots across multiple problems to see the larger picture that helps shape analyses and findings that drive longer term solutions than just answering short term questions You will define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards whilst focusing on the insights. You will work with Advance Data Science teams to bring rigor and robustness in approach and translate them into meaningful insights, tools and value for the Business Build out a constant stream of Testing and experimentation by identifying opportunities and influencing key stakeholders, whilst using the learnings into forward looking planning applications. Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience working within performance marketing analytics, web analytics, eCommerce or digital marketing Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel with experience in Product Analytics Tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) Experience in programming languages and stats packages (e.g. Python, R); experience in experiment design, causal inference and CLTV development Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and drivers of Traffic, Conversion and Revenue. Foundational understanding of Digital Marketing programs not limited to SEO, PPC, Programmatic Display/Video, Social and Affiliates. Experience in driving end to end measurement programs and campaigns including measuring effectiveness, ROI and Efficiency Strong fluency in translating complex data into crisp insights, actions and recommendations Ability to influence business decisions and utilizing data at the leadership level Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical leaders and colleagues Cultivates a strong Test and Learn culture within the broader Marketing team. Education :
BA or BS degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or a relevant field. Master's Degree
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $90,000 to $160,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a "free time" PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
