Senior Project Manager/Designer Overview: We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager/Designer to lead our prestigious projects. This is a new role for us due to growth. This role demands a unique combination of design expertise, project management acumen, exceptional communication skills , and an understanding of the luxury market. You will report directly to Executive Leadership, and be based full-time in Charleston, SC (with very minor travel required to projects in the Caribbean, South Florida, and the NYC metro areas.) Key Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager/Designer: Assisting all project parties (clients, architects, contractors, etc.), management of all schedules, vendor coordination, material sourcing, site visits and design meetings documentation, management of all components of product procurement, inventory maintenance, and project installations. Project Leadership: Manage high-profile residential and commercial projects from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with affluent clients, understanding their needs and preferences while providing exceptional, personalized service throughout the design process. Creative Direction: Lead the design development process, creating innovative concepts that reflect the client's vision. Prepare and present comprehensive design proposals and visual presentations. Create client presentations, Revit models, AutoCad drawings, lighting plans, furniture plans, elevations, budget spreadsheets, client invoicing, and maintain presentation boards and samples. Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with top-tier vendors, artisans, and contractors, ensuring the selection of materials and furnishings aligns with the firm's luxury standards. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring meticulous tracking of expenses and adherence to financial goals while maximizing client satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to oversee installation, ensuring design integrity and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Trend Integration: Stay informed of the latest design trends, materials, and technologies, incorporating innovative solutions into projects to elevate client experiences. Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager/Designer: Strong ORAL communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Not afraid to pick up the phone or meet with construction firms, vendors, clients Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 2 years of experience in high-end commercial design and project management. Proven success managing luxury projects for affluent clients, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise and references to back up your PM skills. Proficiency in Revit and design softwares (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to travel periodically to affluent areas in the Caribbean, South Florida, and the NYC metro region.
