Our client is an American multinational company that operates, franchises, and licenses lodging, including hotel, residential, and timeshare properties. It’s also the largest hotel chain in the world regarding the number of available rooms. The company is based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and encompasses a portfolio of nearly 8,300 properties under 30 leading brands spanning 138 countries and territories. This specific position supports Salesforce Engineering.Requirements
7+ years of experience with information technology, including:
4+ years of experience in Agile Delivery experience using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies;4+ years of experience planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams;4+ years of experience creating and delivering presentations and project plans;2+ years of experience working with tools such as Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Clarity, and/or cloud-based platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).

Manage effectively and efficiently the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment.Run daily scrums, collaborate on requirement documentation, and unblock barriers to keep the team moving. Coach and collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to foster decision-making and continuous improvement.Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and guide the development of agile capabilities in the Global Technology organization and across the client’s portfolio of products.Leading Organizational Delivery
Support one or more software delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Facilitate and support all Scrum events: sprint planning, daily scrum, refinement, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.Take responsibility for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.Act as servant leader of the Agile Team and directs the initiative delivery team.Partner with Product Managers to maintain plans and communicate the team’s progress. This includes product roadmaps, scrum team metrics, and program/project status reporting.Proactively identify and resolve impediments using a network of peers or escalation if needed.Support Release Train Engineer, Product, and Tech teams to manage & remove dependencies and optimize the flow.Coaching Teams
Guide and coach the Scrum Team on using Lean and Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to customers.Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of applying Scrum in the organization.Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.Optimize team performance by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.Develop understanding and encourage the team in engineering practices, DevOps, and innovation.Work with the Scrum Team and internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams.Support the development of behavioral change management, communications, and training to drive process and tool adoption, implementation, and compliance.Collaborate with key stakeholder groups to continuously validate the effectiveness of standard processes and improve process quality.Work with the company’s teams to ensure process-related activities address company needs.Maintaining Goals
