Senior Power Platform Application Developer
to support our client project in
Austin, TX . This is a remote position.
Position will be remote but the Program will only allow candidates who are within the State of Texas. (Any location within the State of Texas).
Job DescriptionDevelops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The candidate will be part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the client's Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. This position performs Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports.
Required Experience:
A minimum of
10 years of overall experience
in Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments, with a strong background in Software Engineering or Application Development.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Proficiency in Agile development processes and sprint planning.
Proven experience in designing and developing Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as backend storage.
Skilled in creating Power BI reports, developing Power Automate Flows (including Desktop Flows and business process Flows), and managing Dataverse tables.
In-depth understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
Preferred:
Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
