ROLE SUMMARYThe Digital Quality (DQ) Solution Center delivers advanced solutions that revolutionize Quality, Safety and Environmental Operations within Pfizer Global Supply (PGS). The mission of the DQ Solution Center is to empower and optimize the performance of Laboratory, Quality Assurance (QA), and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) organizations through the automation and implementation of innovative technologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence. Our team philosophy is “Do good work” and as per Pfizer’s Purpose Blueprint, “Win the Digital Race in Pharma.The Quality Control (QC) Solutions team within Digital Quality is responsible for the core solutions within the Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) Quality Control area. The Quality Smart Labs team is committed to driving decision-making and business transformation through data-driven insights. They specialize in developing reactive, proactive, and predictive analytics to enhance lab processes. This includes creating and deploying solutions like dashboards, GenAI/ML tools, and automated processing tools that utilize lab data to eliminate manual tasks and support labs in executing their business processes efficiently.The Sr. Associate, Technical Analyst will work as part of the Smart Labs agile team to build, maintain, and enhance solutions. The colleague will be highly self-motivated, eager to explore new technologies, and effective when working in a team environment. A strong aptitude towards self-development and growth is highly desired.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe Sr Associate, Technical Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work as a team member building, maintaining, and enhancing solutions used in Pfizer Global Supply laboratories worldwide.Working as part of a scrum team & demonstrate agile ways of working.Work with the product owner & technical manager to maintain a product backlog for the solution to effectively manage the technical work required to enhance & maintain the solution.Collaborate & set expectations with business team to define and estimate sizing of user stories, enablers & defects.Collaborate with other solution teams within Pfizer Digital Quality to align processes and implement process improvements.Manage change in requirements over the project lifecycle and partner with the project manager to assess the impact on the project scope.Ensure work tasks are completed on schedule to a high-quality standard & within configuration guidelines.Ensure solutions are maintained in a compliant state in accordance with Pfizer policy and GMP regulations.Provide L4 technical support & deployment hypercare support.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.3+ years of relevant experience.Good written and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to colleagues.Programming and SQL coding experience in one or more of the tools like Spotfire/Tableau, React JS, Python, Informatica, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.Experience in all stages of system and application lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, solution deployment through value realization.Experience of modern software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, documentation, and releasing.Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP regulations.Ability to work with global teams across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Agile (SAFe preferred).Experience with ETL tools like IICS, AWS services.Experience with various testing tools like ALM, QTest, Jira.Experience writing and using database SQL queries using various databases (Oracle, Snowflake, RedShift, etc.).Experience utilizing one or more database tools like Toad, DBeaver, SQL Navigator with Oracle or other databases.Experience using Git and DevSecOps tools.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to manage many parallel objectives and changing priorities while working with various stakeholders from multiple groups.NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSJob will require working with global teams and applications. A flexible working schedule will be needed on occasion to accommodate planned agile sprint planning and system releases as well as unplanned/on-call support.Potential travel required for critical project work up to 10% of time.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSReports to Digital Quality, Smart Labs Solutions Lead.Works in collaboration with other Digital & Technology groups within and outside Digital Quality on definition, design, technical build, deployment, embed & optimization of the solutions.
