We believe in empowering people to experience the outdoors to the fullest.And we believe in you.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Senior Data Governance Analyst is a member of the Insights & Enablement (I&E) team and is responsible for driving and maintaining global data definitions, data catalog, visibility into data lineage, security classifications, metadata, and quality data for all of CSC's consuming applications and user communities. The Senior Data Governance Analyst will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work throughout the organization to advance CSC's vision for enterprise Data Governance. This person is an essential resource in the Data Governance team providing tactical delivery of CSC's Data Governance framework, initiative and project support, and maturing the Data Governance program at CSC. You will partner closely with leaders and partners in each line of business to align data around common standards in order to create clear, actionable practice for consumption, quality, and use.*This position is a hybrid work model with 3 days per week onsite requirements in our Portland, OR office.HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCESupports and drives maturity and execution of Data Governance strategy and framework.

Facilitate creation of enterprise Data Governance policies, processes, standards, and roles across all data systems and projects.

Execute key Data Governance processes including, defining and aligning business terms and KPIs, critical data asset identification, data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality metrics.

Create and maintain visible scorecards, dashboards, and metrics, and products to align direction and progress toward data consistency and reliable, known sources of truth.

Provide transparency to user communities regarding data issues, questions, concerns, and remediation status. Intake and complete data access and review processes. Recommend changes and improvements to streamline efforts.

Facilitate and collaborate in the documentation of data lineage, alignment of enterprise data naming and definition, and guide in data classification.

Own Data Governance for assigned strategic projects, key initiatives, and domains. Collaborate with business and technical partners, Data Owners, and Data Stewards to achieve project goals and timelines; evangelize data governance with business and technical partners.

Maintain and update CSC data catalog, making information available in a centralized, searchable, enterprise-wide data and metadata inventory for global employees.

YOU HAVEBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.

Experience defining and implementing Data Governance models based on industry best-practices preferred.

Broad knowledge and expertise in all phases of data lifecycle.

Strong time management skills.

Functional understanding of data architecture concepts.

Project Management and group facilitation.

Intermediate understanding of privacy laws and regulations.

Exposure to wholesale and/or retail solutions preferred.

Experience with Data Catalogs, business glossaries, data governance, and metadata management preferred.
