Actalent is Hiring a Pharmacy Manager!!Job Description
The pharmacy manager will perform various administrative tasks, direct pharmacy staff as needed, and manage 350 script verifications per day. The role requires overseeing pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
Direct pharmacy staff and manage daily operations
Perform administrative tasks related to pharmacy management
Verify 350 prescriptions per day
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Maintain inventory and manage pharmacy projects
Provide customer service and ensure a patient-centered approach
Essential Skills
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida
High school diploma
5 years' experience as a Pharmacist
2 years' experience as a manager or team leader
2 years' high-volume retail pharmacy experience
Strong computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fast-paced, time management skills
Patient-centered approach and customer service skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
Previous experience with PrimeCare QS1 pharmacy software preferred
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite in a closed-door pharmacy located in Plantation, FL.
The shift is Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
The work environment is high-volume and operates in a team setting with a ratio of 3 technicians to 1 pharmacist.
