Secret Clearance (Active)Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer with a strong Department of Defense (DOD) background to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, deployment, and management of secure cloud solutions that align with DOD requirements. You will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring that cloud architectures are robust, scalable, and compliant with applicable security standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructures for DOD clients.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with an emphasis on security and compliance.Oversee cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration.Develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks and best practices.Mentor and guide a team of cloud engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system performance.Ensure compliance with DOD standards such as NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and RMF.Required Qualifications:Active Secret Clearance.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Strong understanding of DOD-specific requirements, policies, and standards.Expertise in cloud security frameworks and tools.Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and edge computing.Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) applications in the cloud.Salary:
$150,000 - $160,000 a year
