Our client, a leading telecom company in the US, is seeking a Sr Linux Architect to join their team. As a Sr Linux Architect, you will be part of the compute and automation team supporting the company's datacenter. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, automation skills with Bash, Ansible, and Terraform, and experience with 0 Touch deployments on servers. This is a long-term contract position with a pay rate of $76/hr and a bill rate of $136.75/hr.

Pay Range: $76/hr
What's the Job?
Lead in the planning, design, development, implementation, and execution of Linux systems engineering for the Charter Datacenter
Define and maintain the Linux “golden image” initiative across Charter
Design, develop, and implement platform enhancements and make recommendations for improvements
Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary
Provide Engineering Technical support and guidance to regional personnel and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation are met
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience in UNIX/Linux engineering
Solid Linux engineering, troubleshooting, testing, hardening, and performance tuning experience
In-depth understanding of Linux Kernel
Solid Automation/Scripting skills: perl, bash, and python or related languages
