Job Description:

The Finance Systems Analyst will assist with implementing and updating finance systems for the Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A teams, focusing on optimizing SQL queries, automating reports, and migrating data to new systems. They will collaborate with Treasury to integrate asset data into Empyrean and work with FP&A to define reporting metrics and re-engineer databases using new ERP system data. Additionally, they will perform data analysis, create reports, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with data models and pipeline logic. This position will report directly to Finance Application Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Finance Systems Analyst will assist in implementing and updating existing Finance Systems used by the Accounting, Treasury & FP&A Teams.Collaboration with Treasury Team:

Understand, extract and transform asset information from Asset Financing Software for integration into Empyrean (ALM)Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.Play a key role in migrating current data sets used by Finance System to new database set for efficient data management and modelingReengineer SQL database to utilize new ERP system data and automate the Securitization report requirements.

Collaboration with Accounting and Financial Planning Analysis (FP&A) Team:

Work with FP&A team to define report metrics for accurate data reporting. .Re-engineer SQL Database (views, stored procedures, tables etc.) using new ERP system.Design, develop, and test processes using SQL and Oracle EPM & ARCS.Create ad-hoc queries, reports and provide ongoing analytical support.

Perform various data analytics in SQL and MS Excel using models or industry accepted tools.Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into the Semantic Layer and data modelsWork closely with Data Services team to optimize data pipeline logic for Finance Applications and reporting needsSkills & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields.5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer, Data Analyst or similar role.dvanced SQL skills, Power BI, Tableau, Python. SQL Development Proficiency: Proficient in SQL development, including writing and troubleshooting SQL code and scripts (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).dvance Microsoft Office Suite (excel, powerpoint, word, etc) skills.Experience in Empyrean (ALM) a plus.Experience in Securitization (ABS, ABL, ABCP) a plus.Experience in banking/financial services/capital markets industry a plus.Experience in SAP, Oracle EPM, Odessa, Wholesale Intelligence or any Asset Financing Software a plusFor more information or to view other opportunities, visit us at
