Implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures. Utilize CMIC software for project management, ensuring all projects are financially on track. Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments. Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions. Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans. Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry. Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) is highly preferred. Proficiency in CMIC software and project management is a must. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance requirements. Exceptional leadership skills, with an ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Able to relocate if needed.Interested in hearing more?
