Asset and Wealth Management - Software Engineer - Associate

Job Summary: Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing complex software applications, and a strong background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to meet business needs, and will be responsible for building and maintaining highly reliable and scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop and maintain complex software systems and applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions * Implement and maintain best practices for software development and engineering processes * Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, user guides and manuals * Ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of software systems * Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues * Mentor and coach junior engineers Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field * 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering * Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.) * Solid understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms and data structures * Experience in developing large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems * Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Experience with Agile software development methodologies
