As a Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced voice communication systems and technologies. Leveraging your expertise in voice engineering, you will ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient voice services throughout the organization. This role involves troubleshooting complex voice issues, optimizing system performance, and leading projects to deploy or upgrade voice solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement voice communication systems, including VoIP, PBX, SIP, and unified communications solutions.

Develop and execute deployment plans for new voice technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Monitor and maintain voice systems to ensure optimal reliability and performance.

Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes to optimize performance and security.

Diagnose and resolve complex voice issues, such as call quality, connectivity problems, and system errors.

Provide advanced support for escalated incidents, collaborating with IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

Lead and manage voice-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.

Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.

Maintain detailed documentation for voice systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Generate and analyze performance reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Stay up-to-date with emerging voice technologies and industry trends.

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance voice services and align with organizational goals.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in voice engineering.

Proven experience with VoIP, PBX systems, SIP trunking, and unified communications platforms.

Required Skills:

In-depth knowledge of voice communication protocols (SIP, H.323) and network fundamentals.

Proficiency with voice system hardware, software, and troubleshooting tools.

Experience in network design and configuration, including QoS and bandwidth management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.

Experience with porting voice services between carriers.

Expertise with Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center.

Familiarity with network design and troubleshooting tools.

Experience with advanced QoS configurations and bandwidth management.

Degree Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Certification Requirements:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Avaya, Cisco, CVP) are .
