Our client in the investment banking industry is seeking a SQL Server Developer to join their team. As a SQL Server Developer, you will be part of the development team supporting daily PNL Production process for Finance. The ideal candidate will have excellent Microsoft SQL server development skills, good OO design skills, and knowledge of patterns and architectural understanding which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Based on experience
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2019 database with experience of performance tuning to take advantage of new functionality offered by SQL 2019
Modify Python scripts used in the build-out of the application's new React-based UI
Implement new Bank-wide development processes, upgrade associated toolset to latest technologies, and ensure compliance with Bank policies and standards
Provide release management and day-to-day application support as required and mentor and guide more junior members of the team
Understand Agile and Lean software development practices and associated tools
What's Needed?
Expert Microsoft SQL server development skills
Good OO design skills, knowledge of patterns and architectural understanding
Broad technical understanding
Appreciation of the importance of the whole project-lifecycle and business delivery
Drive changes in working practices to make delivery more efficient
