Systems Administrator (Virtual Desktops)

ManTech is seeking a Systems Administrator (Virtual Desktops) to help support our current USMC contract out of Quantico, VA. The successful candidate will be joining a diverse team at an industry-leading organization known for prioritizing employee development and offering opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support and maintain the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform and associated virtual desktop images to ensure compliance and availability to the end user within the facility
Perform System Administration functions for physical and virtual devices across multiple standalone networks, which includes troubleshooting of on-premises and off-premises hosted applications and systems
Provide support for operating systems, which involves the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the systems environment in support of the organization's IT architecture and business needs
Provide support by managing all privileges and permissions required for each respective standalone network
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, and administers system accounts
Conduct periodic system maintenance including cleaning (both physically and electronically), disk checks, routine reboots, data dumps, and testing
Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs
Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures
Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of systems administration experience to include the following:
Detailed knowledge of virtualization technology (creation, upgrade, maintain, snapshots, restore, backup, etc)
Experience performing STIGs, maintaining POAM, and creating respective accreditation documentation
Detailed knowledge of the Windows Operating systems to include Server and Workstation
Must patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective Operating System
Support, maintain, troubleshoot, install, configure, and upgrade multiple systems
Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completion
Working knowledge of network, hardware, and application virtualization
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements is preferred
PowerShell scripting using any/all of the respective plugins related to the applicable technologies
Experience with Microsoft and VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Linux OS, Networks, MS Exchange, MS Lync, SCCM, Service Manager, SQL Server, Networked Printers/Services, Distributed File Services, Data Protection Manager
