Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets (SSGM). When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to SSGM business unit. As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.Join us if making your mark in the capital markets industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forLead a global, cross-functional team focused on product strategy for Agency Lending, Prime Services, and Secured Financing (“Financing Solutions”)Oversee the design and delivery of Financing Solutions’ global product roadmap, including the associated technology requirementsDevelop product business cases and engage key stakeholders across the organization including Legal, Technology, Finance, Treasury, and OperationsMaintain the technology budget for Financing Solutions and partner with business heads and technology to determine optimal allocationsManage vendor relationships, including evaluation of offerings, selection of vendors and negotiating statements of workOversee all aspects of the Firm’s Venturi platform including product roadmap and sales and marketing planning and executionAnalyze market research and understand the competitive marketplace to identify market trends and potential new product opportunitiesWhat we valueEntrepreneurial and self-directed – operates as an ownerA dynamic problem solver – consistently utilizes a solution driven mindsetA thoughtful communicator who can express complex ideas in simple, practical termsAbility to juggle multiple projects and collaborate well with othersEducation & Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience in Financial Services in product management or similar functionAbout State StreetWhat we do.

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
