About the Salesforce Integration Architect
The Salesforce Solution Architect & Integration Architect role will be responsible for designing and implementing customized technical solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform, focusing on system integrations using MuleSoft and other middleware solutions. This dual responsibility includes designing scalable integrations between Salesforce and various systems, ensuring smooth and secure data flows across platforms.
ResponsibilitiesTechnical Solution Design:
Designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.Designing integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, Mulesoft, and other integration tools.Estimation of level of effort to implement solutions.
Integration Architecture:
Lead the design and implementation of integrations between multiple systems.Provide expertise in MuleSoft, focusing on API management, data transformation, and integration solutions.
Salesforce Platform Expertise:
Proficient in one or more Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, etc.) and tools like Process Builder, Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.Ensure Salesforce solutions are integrated seamlessly with external systems.
Technical Leadership:
Responsible for managing to a scope and budget.Guide development teams in both Salesforce and system integration efforts, ensuring smooth collaboration and quality work.Responsible to follow up with developers if concerns raised about communication/timeline/budget/bugs.Ensure best practices in integration architecture diagrams and technical designs.Work closely with internal team members such as Solution Consultants to collaborate on business requirements and solution design.Escalate risks with technical director and help to mitigate.
Client Interaction & Documentation:
Work with clients to understand their business needs, both in Salesforce and integration contexts.Document integration architecture, technical designs, and data flow diagrams.
Best Practices:
Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and Mulesoft integration best practices, ensuring compliance with integration security standards.Attaining and maintaining relevant trainings/certifications.
Quality Assurance:
Perform code reviews, integration testing, and quality checks on both Salesforce solutions and system integrations.
