ManTech is seeking a Cloud Architect to help support our current USMC contract out of Quantico, VA. The successful candidate will be joining a diverse team at an industry-leading organization known for prioritizing employee development and offering opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support and maintain on-premises cloud services (i.e., cloud tenant and hosting environments), including monitoring cloud services for optimized provisioning and on-site wargame execution within each security enclave
Implement, manage, and monitor identity, governance, storage, compute resources and virtual networks
Manage subscriptions and access management
Run compliance reports on cloud services users and usage
Coordinate and support access and management of external cloud-hosted systems
Operate and maintain a hybrid cloud environment within each respective enclave
Coordinate and sustain cloud landing zones, development, test, and production environments on unclassified and classified networks
Deploy and manage cloud solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud service-related issues
Configure cloud services to meet customer needs
Design and manage swap space in the cloud environment
Maintain cloud profiles, subscriptions, and account management
Setup new cloud environments, balancing and deploying workloads and resource
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and at least 7 years of systems engineering experience. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
At least 4 years of experience with available cloud technologies and capable of entire lifecycle transition to cloud technology to include the following:
Knowledge of available cloud services to make informed decisions on SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and Self-Hosted, or hybrid approach
Recommend best practice approach of transition to cloud technologies or hybrid approach
Develop transition plan that keeps current stakeholders informed during the process
Design, Implement, and Automate environment creation
Document procedures, plans, testing, diagrams, maintenance, training, SLAs/OLAs
Must be capable of training peers with administration/migration processes
Must be capable of training customers of new processes/procedures resulting from cloud transition
Must be capable of scripting technologies and how to automate creation of cloud environment
Familiar with implementing High Availability (HA) architecture, maximizing service uptime
Must be familiar with environment auto scaling and load balancing
Must be familiar with DoD Cyber processes to include STIGs
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with Marine Corps processes, procedures, and interoperability requirements
Familiar with similar transitions and can inform lessons learned as needed
Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) development may be necessary
Familiar with C2S, S-C2S, AWS, Azure\MSO365 and Marine Corps Private Cloud technologies and dependencies
Familiar with ESRI Enterprise service architectures and geodatabase systems, specifically ArcGIS Portal
Familiarity with FEDRAMP, NIST, RMF, and other process standards
Experience with manual and automated security administration, remediation, and hardening (STIG reviews, group policy and permissions, system modifications based on vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations; patch management)
Experience implementing and supporting enterprise system monitoring tools
MS Active Directory administration to include, but not limited to, Group Policy, Account Management, Domain Controllers, etc.
Prior project management, team lead, and scrum master experience
