Job Summary This role manages the content development of marketing and communications campaigns that drive awareness and consumption of IEEE Computer Society products, services, and initiatives. The incumbent collaborates with teams and stakeholders to build campaigns that generate awareness and engagement, and contributes innovative and creative ideas to support the campaign objectives. The incumbent is actively involved in developing campaign content for integrated campaigns to meet campaign goals.

The role reports to a Sr. Manager. It does not have direct reports, but will work collaboratively with internal teams. Key Responsibilities

Develop/update content for marketing and communications campaigns. Collaboration and development of various content for marketing initiatives for blogs, newsletters, nurturing emails, contributed articles, web content, and podcasts. Ensure broad reach of content through integrated marketing campaigns. Ensure that all messaging and communications, both with internal and external audiences, are consistent. Ensure a cohesive branding and voice across properties. Provide communications support to employees for IEEE CS wide initiatives, department projects, and other special requests, including internal communications. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and analyze brand, product, and company’s position. Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities along the user continuum where content could drive increased engagement (i.e., critical conversion points, and drop-off points) to improve content quality and messaging consistency along the user journey. Identify customers' needs and expectations. Incorporate findings into campaign messaging. Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, communications, or other related field (Required). Work Experience 4-7 years of marketing communications/marketing (Required). 2-4 years of Communications or marketing experience in technology-related fields (Preferred). Skills and Requirements Content marketing experience, either at an agency or in-house. Strong project management skills, used to working across teams to implement effective campaigns and drive ROI. Demonstrated experience in content development. Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills. Must be willing to travel up to 10% as needed. Proven ability to translate complex concepts into simple messages for a variety of audiences alongside excellent listening skills. Demonstrated ability to create high-quality work in a high-volume environment. Self-starter, results-oriented, attention to detail, proactive, able to work independently as well as in a team. A working knowledge of major trends in technologies is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, reporting skills, and organizational discipline.
