Who we are looking forState Street Wealth Services is seeking a dynamic executive to serve as the Head of Wealth Merger Integration. This role will be pivotal for executing on inorganic growth strategy and serving as first line of defense for the business unit. You will play a key role in driving key initiatives and delivering on strategic goals in an evolving organization.

State Street Wealth Services seeks to enable wealth advisors and their investment managers to achieve better outcomes for their clients and themselves, thereby enabling revenue growth across all areas of State Street. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Wealth Services, this role will contribute to realizing this vision by driving business growth through executing on inorganic growth strategy. Involved in M&A activity for Wealth Services from deal execution to ongoing integration efforts. Responsible for developing and executing on full integration plans including serving as first line of defense for risk mitigation, leading all aspects of acquisition / merger integration; identifying and managing synergies and budget implications and driving accountability with clear goals, objectives, and metrics. Will be responsible for aligning the organization through effective communications and partnership with key stakeholders. What you will be responsible forThe Head of Wealth Merger Integration is responsible for managing a wide range of activities for the business, including:
Ensure comprehensive integration plan is in place to most efficiently and effectively achieve expected financial and business outcomes
Coordinate stakeholders for specific functional level workstreams and post deal integration efforts
Identify project goals and milestones and provide executive level updates and reporting
Responsible for facilitating and monitoring completion of key post-deal integration activities including achievement of synergy goals
Realize deal objectives and adhere to budget
Ensures all acquisition related regulatory requirements are met and potential risks are mitigated
Serves as ongoing First Line of Defense for risk management matters related to the Wealth Services business

Proven experience successfully recruiting and building world class teams
Ability to make tough decisions, to change and adapt quickly, while remaining focused on customers and executing business initiatives
Ability to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous priorities and initiatives
Strong management background; ability to work both tactically and strategically
A strong leadership profile coupled with outstanding verbal and written communications.
Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues.
Critical assessment capability –ability to maintain a very high bar and drive excellence in work products, services, hiring, etc.
Creative, outcome-driven influencer with demonstrated leadership and exceptional talent development capabilities
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate degree minimum and graduate degree preferred
15+ years of related experience including 10+ years as part of a global leadership team
Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
