We are looking for a self-starter with the desire to be a critical member of our growing team in an Agile Scrum environment. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work directly with end-users to solve production support issues, participate in testing tasks, analyze and define business requirements, and help design our application. This role requires you to be able to work independently and help drive work forward all while managing your own priorities and taking on additional work/responsibilities should you be required.

We need someone with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task working independently with limited supervision. The team works in a remote setting that will require you to communicate effectively, focus and self-motivate. At various times you will be required to provide onsite support at the Pentagon during the high peak usage periods of our applications. This will allow you to work more closely with our customers and build strong relationships. You must be able to work collaboratively with our team and remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Work independently, under limited supervision, prioritizing your work effectively.

Perform various levels of testing to ensure quality across our applications.

Analyze and decompose business requirements.

Create innovative solutions to customer’s needs and requests.

Ability to write well defined requirements, test cases, and any other types of documentation that may be required.

Ability to provide onsite customer support at the Pentagon.

Work effectively with team members at all times.

Continuously self-improve and stay current on best practices for business systems analyst processes.

Participates in sprints, backlog grooming, estimation, and other Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) – Business Information Systems, Mathematics or similar analytical field is a plus.

Desire to work in an Agile environment where priorities and deadlines may change regularly.

Experience with software development life cycle.

Experience documenting requirements, test cases, etc.

Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong analytical mind

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to problem-solve.

U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience supporting DoD PPBE process.

Interest in and/or comfort with presenting to an audience a plus.

Experience with 508 compliance.

Experience with Agile methodology.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$66,100 - $135,600
