A healthcare and insurance firm is looking for a
Scrum Master
to join their team. This role is remote (CST hours).
Pay: $75-85/hrCandidate must have previous Healthcare (specifically Medicare) experience.
Responsibilities:Serves as the "servant leader” of the Scrum team by removing impediments and helping the team remain successful and on schedule.Provide expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects.Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.Focus on providing thought leadership but works on broader projects which require understanding of wider business; recognized internally as a subject matter expert.Exhibit Lean-Agile Leadership and the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile mindset.Help the team embrace SAFe Core Values, adopt and apply SAFe Principles, and implement SAFe practices.Facilitate the team's progress toward the goal and is constantly engaged in challenging the old norms and roles while keeping the team focused on the goals of the iteration.Lead by example in technical expertise, high energy level, and can-do attitude.Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, but also familiarity with Kanban and Lean principles).Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.Ability to coach team members on Agile principlas and best practices.Expertise in facilitating productive team discussions, managing stakeholder expectations, and resolving conflicts that may arise within teams.Experience working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, such as Product Owners, and IT teams.Working knowledge and experience with routine delivery management and reporting functions in Jira or similar tools.Self-directed and capable of leading a team of professionals across a matrix partner of organizations.
