Our solutions expedite money movement and reduce manual processes, ultimately improving financial operations for small merchant businesses and delivering unparalleled simplicity for our customers.You will be responsible for:Designing new next level Embed integrationsWorking cross functionally to integrate new Embed products with diverse systemsImproving system reliability and observabilityPromoting a culture of qualityWe’d love to chat if you have:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, including building enterprise platformsExpertise in building and maintaining large-scale, high-volume, high-availability, low-latency systemsExpert-level knowledge of Java, SQL and NoSQL databases along with full-stack developmentKnowledge about AWS technologies (DynamoDB, Lambda)Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical conceptsProficiency in version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment automationProficiency with monitoring, alerting, and reporting toolsCross-team collaboration with extreme ownership mindsetExceptional problem solving, critical thinking, communication skills, and a bias towards actionStrong understanding of engineering, product, and design interoperation and communicationThe estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
