AWS Cloud Engineer

Position - AWS Cloud Engineer Location - Dallas, TX Duration - 6 months Rate - Competitive Visa Preference - USC, GC, H4 EAD, L2 EAD Job Responsibilities: Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions in AWS. Proficient in designing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS. Understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including Git & Azure DevOps. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Automation of infrastructure as code using git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform. Troubleshooting and supporting containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) Ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs Provide technical oversight, review and quality control throughout the life cycle of the implementations. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferably Certified AWS Certified Sysops Administrator 3 years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer with following key skills: Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation AWS Networking/ECS/EC2/Network/IAM, CLI, & best practices Devops practices and CI/CD Development Git based development Systems administration - Windows or Linux Other Qualifications: Strong presentation and written communication skills.
