CHNK BEAHVIORAL HEALTH IT Support Specialist - Part Time Location: CHNK Behavioral Health - Devou Park Campus, 200 Home Rd., Covington, KY 41011 Reports To: Director of Digital First Strategies FLSA: Non-exempt Job Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week Prefer two 8-hour days and one 4-hour day, but willing to discuss Job Description: Part-Time IT Support Specialist to assist with the Digital First Strategies Department at CHNK. Responsibilities include setting up computers, mobile devices, troubleshooting device issues (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, etc.), managing documentation, and providing excellent customer service. This position is excellent for anyone new to the IT support world looking to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment at a growing non-profit organization. Essential Functions: Computer Setup: Install and configure new hardware, such as laptop computers, televisions, monitors and workstation accessories. Install and configure software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and various web-based applications. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve desktop issues. Candidate must be able to use available resources to research solutions and deploy them effectively. Typical issues consist of hardware (laptops, desktops, copiers, various office equipment), software, telephony and network related issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support requests to be reported to senior management. Create How-To documentation and be able to relay this information to staff and respond to questions. Manage work orders and logging on demand requests. Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient support to end-users, some of which have limited knowledge of IT systems or computer usage. Project Support: Assist the director of Digital First Strategies in carrying out projects by working with vendors and collaborating with their needs. Qualifications: Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED Either enrolled in or completed college course in the IT or IS fields preferred. Equivalent knowledge or experience considered. Certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, or similar preferred. Proven experience in IT support or a related field. Strongly prefer at least one year of experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Created Suites, Microsoft Edge, Lenovo Vantage, RMM Tools, and other common software applications Sensitivity to, and alignment with, CHNK cultural initiatives including the Sanctuary Model of Trauma Informed Care, All Children All Families LGBT competencies, and Ellequate, an equitable workplace.
