Job Summary:
Our client is looking to add an accounting clerk to the accounting team due to continued growth.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (Finance degree or MBA considered with relevant work experience)Minimum 3 years of experience in financial close process and financial reportingIntermediate Excel skills and proficiency with ERP softwareStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsFull onsite work environment initially, with hybrid opportunities available after trainingResponsibilities Include:
Oversee inventory, payroll, fixed assets, and financial close processAssist in inventory count compilation and conduct recount audits; maintain accurate inventory subledgerExecute month-end close activities, including reconciliation of general ledger accounts and posting journal entries; conduct financial analysisPrepare monthly financial statements and various financial reportsAid in the preparation of annual operating budget and update financial forecastsProcess payroll accurately and in a timely mannerPrepare and file state sales tax and CAT returns, and issue forms 1099Provide support to CPA firm during audits and tax filingsDocument and update standard operating proceduresContribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyUndertake ad hoc projects as assigned by management#INJUN2024#INJUL2024#LI-MJ1#ZRCFSId: EB-8862749261
