Who we're looking for

Toyota's Financial Services is looking for highly motivated

Senior Business Analyst, Spend Analytics

to work across Indirect Procurement Shared Services (IPSS) groups and commodities to design, capture and measure our function's effectiveness. Furthermore, through KPI analysis, create and maintain informative dashboards for stakeholders and Toyota executives as well as support automation initiatives to reduce waste from cumbersome manual processes.

Reporting to the Manager of Spend Analytics, the person in this role will support Indirect Procurement's objective to optimize the value of our services to Toyota by providing information to IPSS teams and decision makers that they can use toward process optimization and cost reduction. More specifically, the successful candidate will develop reporting processes and reports to measure operations performance and financial results of our standardization initiatives and create or support process automations to drive standardization and efficiencies.

What you'll be doingCollect and assemble operating, transactional and master data from various data sources including Ariba (Contracts, Reqs/POs/Invoices, Supplier Management, etc.), Amex PCard, TMNA TBDP, TFS EDP/Snowflake, TMNA SAP, TFS SAP, and other data sources (as needed) to prepare metrics/performance dashboards and reports for our internal customers including IPSS teams, management and executive stakeholders.Automate data updates and schedule jobs as much as possible to allow resources to be focused on new initiatives and improvements rather than repetitive work.Create dashboards to drive and support stabilization & standardization of reporting for operational, financial and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for upper management.

Examples include reporting/visualizations around Cycle Times, Cost Savings, Req & Contract Volume, Req Aging, Divisional Dashboards for GVPs, etc.

Design, monitor, and optimize KPI database and other reporting processes. Work with Indirect Procurement operation managers and staff to resolve any issues with data and reporting.Support operational requests by pulling, normalizing, and validating data as well as performing calculations and comparisons for presentation to analysts, managers and/or executives.Act as a Business Analyst for RPA initiatives or other automations to work with our internal customers to identify automation opportunities, capture detailed requirements, design solutions, coordinate and support development activities and/or develop automations internally and track project progress to completion.Challenge current processes by working as a leader to standardize and continually find innovative ways to improve, streamline, and automate.Ensure great customer service by using available resources to predict and meet the future needs of our internal customers as well as provide suggestions or consultation to stakeholders during design of processes or dashboards to challenge what's possible.Always strive to ensure quality and accuracy of data and reports prepared, especially considering high-level executive audiences and internal customers who rely on the data to make decisions.Support or drive initiatives that arise from upper management requests as well as support Indirect Procurement staff with tasks like training or assistance with technical or data requests as needed.What you bring

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.Advanced spreadsheet and intermediate data analysis skills.Hands-on experience with SQL, Alteryx, UiPath AND/OR related skills.Proficiency with building reports in Tableau, Power BI or other dashboarding tools. Tableau preferred.Good technical, data and analytical skills with experience using database platforms such as SQL, SAP, Ariba, AND/OR TBDP/EDP/data lake.Experience leading presentations and sharing insights with a broad range of colleagues including executive-level audiences.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Process improvement mindset and interest in light coding & automation.Attention to detail and provide accurate data, while also able to understand and articulate the big picture.Strong desire to identify problems and investigate to identify and rectify root cause.Added bonus if you have:
