Job Description for the Senior Accountant:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our clients finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful analysis to support their manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.Monitor inventory accounting and valuation, collaborating with production teams.Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing variance analysis to management.Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, implementing improvements as needed.Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Benefits:
