Great opportunity for an Accountant who has strong time management skills, attention to detail, and logical/analytical thinking skills.Client DetailsOur client is an industry leader in laboratory instrumentation for analytical testing.DescriptionMaintains accounting and financial information for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly transactions.Record intercompany transactions, reconcile and confirm intercompany balances, research and resolve discrepancies.Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries to general ledger.Assist with financial statement review and analysis.Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded.Reconcile general ledger accounts.Update accounts receivable records, issue invoices and perform reconciliations.Review accounts receivable aging and perform customer collection calls.Apply customer payments and make bank deposits.Enter accounts payable invoices and corporate credit card transactions.Act as backup for accounts payable and accounts receivable.Participate in external audit, work with external auditors and prepare work papers.Participate in a wide variety of ad-hoc reporting, special projects and analysis as necessary and other duties as assigned.
