LiveYourLifeLoveYourJob Job Summary: To perform accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services for various clients of the firm Major Responsibilities: Record business transactions and maintain the general ledger, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals and journal entries Prepare financial statements Prepare payroll for clients Prepare and file sales tax returns Communicate directly with clients in person, email and via phone Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision Desired Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAP) and financial regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Familiarity with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of integrity and professionalism
