Core4ce is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineers to onboard high-profile Defense Health Agency (DHA) customers to our AWS and Azure PaaS hosting environments. In this role, you will work closely with critical DHA Programs of Record (PORs) to ensure a seamless and efficient migration of their applications and workloads to our cloud-hosted environments. Our ideal candidate is an expert in either AWS or Azure cloud hosting platforms and is proficient in the other; meaning you must know both and be an expert in one.We seek individuals with a strong customer-centric approach that has experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Federal customers.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end onboarding of high-profile customers to AWS and Azure PaaS environments, ensuring a smooth and timely transition.Serve as a technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on cloud architecture, security, compliance, and operational best practices.Implement cloud solutions that align with customer requirements, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Support teams to coordinate onboarding, solve complex customer challenges, and enhance onboarding processes.Develop scripts and automation to streamline onboarding processes, including CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud-native service integration.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for onboarding procedures and deliver training to junior engineers and customers.Requirements5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on customer onboarding or migration.Extensive experience with AWS and Azure PaaS, including core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management within cloud environments.Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to hold a Secret clearanceAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificationPreferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Recognized expert who has obtained a relevant commercial cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native architecture.Previous experience working with DoD/Federal clients, ideally in a client-facing or consulting capacity.Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to customer success.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
