Cybersecurity Requirements Specialist
Key Role:Develop innovative solutions to complex cyber risk problems and advise sector Business Information Security Officers in the continuous evaluation of Global Defense extended enterprise environment cybersecurity requirements, both internal, including corporate policy and standards, and external, including regulatory requirements such as CMMC. Evaluate security plans and gaps within Booz Allen's suite of internal cybersecurity governance tools. Assist the BISO team in managing the sector's information security community of practice. Coordinate a sector-wide communications plan and roadmap throughout the current fiscal year and forecast for the next fiscal year based on current and emerging requirements. Assist sector client delivery teams that are managing extended enterprise environments in preparing for DoD audits with cybersecurity components, such as DIBCAC, DCMA, or DCSA. Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity requirements for Booz Allen extended enterprise environments and liaise with corporate teams in identifying and implementing new requirements based on the needs of the business. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications:Experience applying broad cyber security principals in the development of security or secured design requirements
Experience with security gap identification and mitigation through analysis of plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms)
Experience identifying and briefing security requirements for systems or operations
Experience communicating complex ideas, reaching large audiences, and performing knowledge management tasks
Knowledge of security technologies and devices such as network firewalls, web proxies, intrusion prevention systems and intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, or penetration tools
Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) CSF, RMF, and non-federal IS security controls, including SP 800-171
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:Experience with NIST security standards and supporting U.S. Department of Defense security requirements
Experience with cyber hardening, vulnerability management, scanning, assessment, or tools
Experience with cloud security principals and cloud platform secure designs
Experience as a knowledge manager (KM) or KM practitioner
DoD 8140 CWQP Certification

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
