Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:Work with product owners and application teams to establish, maintain, and execute versioned automated test scenarios and associated data, with the primary goal being early detection of software issues and quality improvementFocus on automating new functionality pre-release and maintenance post-release, or establishing efficient testing routines in other areasSupport end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
Requirements:
5-8 years of hands-on experience in Test Automation projects as an automation developerPrevious experience in implementing test automation development efforts in an Agile SCRUM development environmentProficient to work on all phases of QA activities including detailed script analysis, requirement and design analysis, test scripting design and strategies/development, execution at scale, and defect reporting and trackingHands-on experience developing smoke, functional, and regression testing scripts for UI, API services, and back end application layersExperience in Core Java and experience on java related projectsExperience in managing automation software as code (Maven, GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins)Proficient in SQLExperience using JIRA and Client ALM to support SDLC processesExperience with multiple scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, Python, Perl, Linux, and PowerShellExperience with automated test script creation and maintenance using Behavior Driven Development approach (Cucumber, Gherkin)Experience with automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, UFT, etc.)Web Services testing with different payloads like XML and JSONExperience in defining and developing Load and Performance tests (JMeter, etc.)Experience with script versioning and handling roll-back scenarios in a Continuous Integration EnvironmentWilling and able to provide guidance and knowledge sharing with junior-level resourcesWorking experience in a large or Global organizationExcellent communication skills; must be able to communicate with developers to coordinate feature and integration testing requirements
