Our team grew from 90 people to over 150 people in 2024. We've got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software like Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, Procore and ServiceTitan. We'll be scaling even faster in 2025 to keep pace with our customer growth.
How we work: Owner is a remote-first, global company with a home base in San Francisco. For some of our creative teams we prioritize in-person collaboration at our SF HQ. The rest of our employees are distributed throughout the world.
Why we're looking for you
We are looking for a talented, Staff-level UI/Interaction Designer to join our small but mighty product team. This role will partner with our technical team to level up the visual design of our product, plus own and deliver new product design initiatives end-to-end.
Owner is a remote-first company with a home base in San Francisco. For this role/team, we prioritize in-person collaboration at our SF HQ and are aiming for a local hire (or someone willing to relocate).
The impact you will havePartner strategically with Engineering and our supporting teams to drive team strategy, product decisions, and roadmap priorities.Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from vision and ideation, to prototyping, user testing, and final production.Partner closely with our team to create scalable design frameworks and solutions, map out priorities, and dream about the future of restaurant tech, the company, the product itself, and the design team.As part of a small team, you help build and maintain the design system, project files, and other miscellaneous product tasks.Minimum requirements
7+ years of Product Design experience; previous Staff-level experience/title strongly preferredExperience designing at a rapidly-growing, product-focused company (previous startup experience highly preferred)Mastery of your craft, including strong visual and interaction design skills, prototyping, and UX best practicesAbility to own end-to-end design process from initial concept to final implementationDeeply customer / product oriented. Able to participate in all phases of a product, from discovery to delivery to iteration.Ability to collaborate and partner strategically with UX Research, Product, and Engineering to drive and influence product decisions and strategyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLow ego, collegial and open-mindedPay and benefits
The estimated base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $230,000 (USD), plus a generous equity pre-IPO equity packageOther benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
