This position is 100% Remote.We are looking for someone strong in Signal Processing!Hands-on role, not a Lead
Seeking a Data Scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of structured and unstructured data, and help us make smarter decisions to solve business problems. The primary focus is in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our solutions.
Responsibilities:Apply and develop signal processing techniques to analyze time-series data and extract meaningful features from complex datasets. Utilize expertise in signal processing fundamentals, including time-series analysis, filtering, transforms, and other relevant techniques essential for our work in regulatory surveillance.Develop, apply, and when necessary, customize advanced machine learning and statistical models for large and complex datasets to identify patterns and detect anomalies. This requires a strong foundation in modeling principles and the ability to develop custom algorithms when needed, while also leveraging and adapting existing Python libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras for efficient implementation.Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to build predictive models using techniques like classification, regression, clustering, time series analysis etc.Process and analyze streaming/batch data using Spark and related big data technologies.Design, build and optimize end-to-end model development pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training/tuning, evaluation and deployment.Collaborate closely with other data scientists, engineers and product teams on ongoing model monitoring, debugging and retraining.Requirements:
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field.3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data mining and predictive modeling.Expertise in Python and proficiency in SQL.Strong knowledge of statistics, linear algebra and related math concepts.Expertise in signal processing techniques like time-series analysis, filtering, transforms etc.Experience working with Spark, Hadoop and other big data technologies.Experience designing efficient data structures and algorithms.Experience with MLOps tools and practices like model versioning, monitoring, A/B testing etc.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with engineering and product teams.
