The Director - Supportive Housing is responsible for overall fiscal responsibility, marketing development, personnel and physical management for HUD/Tax Credit, Public Housing and special needs communities.

The position provides effective management of direct reports (Regional Directors and Corporate Compliance/Trainer) as well as coordination of activities and available resources to maximize the successful operation of the Supportive Housing portfolio.

A rewarding career with an opportunity to make a difference What we are looking for: Our Supportive Housing team needs a Director who, in addition to their primary job responsibilities, will help our residents by providing support, and by developing trusting, caring relationships. The Director for Supportive Housing is required to: Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in property management including at least 3 years of experience with oversight of multiple properties, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Have experience in project development as well as current knowledge of HUD Subsidy programs, LIHTC programs, and Real Estate regulations; Interact effectively with senior leadership as well as residents, resident families, and front-line team members; experience with older adults is preferred; Be proficient in the use of Internet Software, Property Management Software, and Microsoft Office; proficiency in One Site is preferred; Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a registered and insured vehicle for same-day commuting between communities and response to emergency calls; Travel approximately 60 - 75% of the time. A Pennsylvania Real Estate license must be obtained within 9 months of hire; a current Real Estate license is preferred. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM), National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), and/or Fair Housing and LIHTC training is preferred.
