Wargame Developer

ManTech is seeking a Wargame Developer in support of a government contract for wargaming in Quantico, Va.
The Wargame Developer is responsible for conducting research and developing wargame products, including orders of battle, scenarios, and system capabilities. They also assist game designers by developing, adapting, and refining wargame mechanics and rules.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop the physical products of the wargame such as maps, playing pieces, and player aids.
Develop an interface to modeling and simulations tool that can be used in game play.
Developing, operating, maintaining, and archiving simulations databases in support of wargames and events, with government-provided Model & Simulation tools.
Operate modeling and simulation tools during wargame execution.
Develop means to capture player decisions during game play.
Collaborate with other wargame designers and developers as a part of a wargame design team.
Lead the test and evaluation process of a game design prior to gameplay.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years’ experience. A total of 10 years’ experience without a degree.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Experience with planning and accomplishing developer goals and directing others in this work.
Clearance Requirements:
Current DOD Secret clearance, with ability to acquire TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
