; commission is a

% of the profit from the cases won . The firm typically does not accept cases with a potential value of under $500K-$750K but ideally

$1M CASES ARE THE FLOOR! You would be working on approx. 30-40 cases, likely settling

10-12/year

. Most of their cases settle prior to trial so the

“win” ratio is typically very high. Base salary up to

$225,000.00, with estimated OTE of $550,000.00 - $600,000.00.

You are confident enough in your past success to maybe even exchange some base salary for commission upside.

Once you interview, you will understand why. The firm awards a

25% bonus

Our client advocates for individuals who have sustained serious injuries due to the negligence of corporations, businesses, governmental entities, or individuals with insurance. Their focus spans a variety of injury cases, with a particular emphasis on brain, spine, and catastrophic injuries. Additionally, our client handles diverse employment matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and more. Operating as a contingency firm, they eschew billable hours, and depending on experience, offer potential to be a part of their highly lucrative case referral bonus program.

The ideal candidate should be a motivated litigator driven by a strong passion for justice and aiding individuals. This presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic employment litigation and trial practice. You will collaborate with one of California's top trial lawyers and his team, overseeing cases, engaging in litigation, conducting and defending depositions, mediating, and participating in trials.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in employment civil litigation is a requirement

. While trial experience is not mandatory, it is highly coveted.

They will consider targeted experience with up to 15 years of experience.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Oversee a

caseload of 30-40 cases , assuming the lead attorney role throughout all phases of litigation from filing to trial. Formulate case strategies to navigate legal complexities effectively. Draft and generate pleadings, motions, and various legal documents. Conduct and defend depositions with precision. Supervise the discovery process to ensure thoroughness. Initiate and participate in settlement negotiations. Serve as second chair in trial proceedings. Maintain ongoing client communication, delivering regular updates on case progress. Provide guidance and direction to Paralegal and other support staff. Qualifications:

Possess

1+ years

of hands-on experience in employment civil litigation. Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Maintain an active California bar membership in good standing. Demonstrate a proven track record of effectively managing caseloads and achieving full value case resolutions. Exhibit strong legal research and analytical skills. Showcase excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Embrace a client-focused approach, coupled with robust interpersonal skills. Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Uphold high ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity.
