Description
About us We are

and we are advancing the research ecosystem. We are a pioneering technology company, and our vision is of a future where a trusted and collaborative research ecosystem drives progress for all. We believe in better, open, collaborative and inclusive research. In creating the next generation of tools and working in partnership with the community we tackle some of the biggest challenges to research. In order to achieve our vision, we need innovative, inspiring and dynamic people to join our team. Want to join us? Your new role The VP Rev Ops Enablement & Insights will play a key role in establishing and optimising the new Revenue Operations function, specifically the Systems, Insights and Enablement area (Commercial Training and support of commercial projects), in close collaboration with the VP Commercial Operations. It is crucial that both roles maintain close collaboration to avoid silos and ensure the seamless flow of information, insights, and strategies across the organisation. A close collaboration with the VP of Operational Excellence is also required, to ensure success. The VP of RevOps Solutions & Insights is responsible for aligning and optimizing commercial operations by managing business processes, technology systems, data insights, and enablement initiatives. While the insights team is not yet fully staffed (with hiring planned for the short to mid-term), this role will integrate streamlined workflows, advanced technology solutions, and interim training programs, leveraging available data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, drive revenue growth, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
What you’ll be doing
Leadership and Strategic Alignment:
Direct commercial Business Solutions (including CRM and CX systems), Rev Ops Process & Workflow, RevOps Insights, and RevOps Enablement & Training teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with Segment and Commercial teams to design and implement optimized commercial processes, systems, and actionable insight and enablement initiatives. Process Optimization and Systems Integration:
In collaboration with the PMO and Operations Excellence team, implement strategies for end to end process optimization and systems integration across commercial and RevOps functions. In collaboration with Commercial Operations Managers, lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Technology Solutions Management:
In collaboration with Operational Excellence, Operations Managers and functional leaders, oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of key technology solutions. In collaboration with Operations Managers, manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs. Training and Enablement:
In collaboration with L&D and core functional commercial leads, develop and implement a comprehensive training program to enhance team skills and effectiveness of commercial core functions. Identify and capitalise on enablement opportunities to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. While there will be no dedicated resources in the short term assigned to Training, the foundation or processes to bridge the gap until we have dedicated resources need to be put in place. Data Strategy and Insights Management:
Oversee data insights team, to ensure data-driven decision-making. Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies, ensuring data standardization, quality assurance, and the creation of actionable insights that support business objectives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop and monitor KPIs for process efficiency, systems performance, enablement effectiveness, and insights delivery. Project Management and Cross-Functional Coordination:
In collaboration with other business and revenue operations resources, as well as key stakeholders, oversee the alignment of project initiatives with broader commercial goals and ensure successful execution across all relevant teams. Compliance and Innovation:
Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in processes, systems, and enablement strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. Work with IT, Finance, Product, Commercial and Business Ops teams, and the PMO to align processes, systems, and enablement initiatives with organizational goals. Driving the Success of Revenue Operations:
Support the implementation and success of the Revenue Operations function by fostering close collaboration with commercial operations functions, finance operations, and the Business Operations team, to ensure a seamless and optimised lead-to-cash workflow. Where there may be overlap or unclarity, work together to establish clear ways of working, RACIs, document processes and decisions, and avoid inefficiencies or duplications. As Revenue Operations is a new function, be adaptable to potential role changes over time.
What you’ll bring to the role
Experience: 10+ years of experience in revenue operations, business process optimization, or systems enablement.
