The Director of Commercial Finance is responsible for owning the HFS pricing process from start to finish. This entails working cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to understand key inputs, building out costing models, and providing both strategic and tactical guidance to team members. This role will also be heavily involved in assessing strategic capital investments.
Job Duties: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Leadership of Commercial Finance Team Identify and develop high performing team members. Provide training and development opportunities for all team members to grow in their contribution to the team and the company. Establish pricing policies and ensure adherence to established hurdle rates. Provide appropriate review of all pricing proposals. Establish processes for completing pricing maintenance of existing business in a timely and accurate manner. Provide strategic advice and analysis to Sales team in the development of new sales opportunities. Co-develop annual revenue budget. Assist in contract review, as needed. Provide analysis and input on strategic new business development. Establish target hurdle rates for pricing. Provide financial support on all new Capital Asset Requests. Knowledge of: Knowledge and experience with SAP. Operations in a multi-site/multi-equipment contract manufacturing environment. Skill in: Pricing strategy. Contract administration. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Successfully communicates with customers, vendors, and multiple levels of the organization. Must be able to effectively work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Successfully multi-task across various groups. Lead, modeling the organization’s culture and values, providing guidance and direction, influencing, and developing others while maintaining integrity, blending people into teams when needed, and fostering open dialogue. Lead and manage others through change. Proficiency in: Cross functional team leadership. Margin analysis. SAP and Excel. Work is primarily done in an office setting. Physical Requirements: Sitting at a work station for extended periods of time. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. Minimum of 8 years finance experience.
